Obviously government is necessary. The problem is it has bloated into an ineffective, inefficient and unsustainable Leviathan. No government has ever reduced its size voluntarily. It always expands under the guise of “helping the people”, and here we are. Massive debt created by waste, fraud, abuse and corruption is the result of our belief in government. A massive government intelligence agency, the NSA, has unprecedented freedom to all your information. We are coerced by a massive collection agency, the IRS, to pay our government even though it is dysfunctional and unrepresentative of the people’s needs. Immigration is not a Federal Constitutionally mandated responsibility, only Naturalization is, yet it continues to drive policy.
