It is funny that some people who are bashing Boehner for not going to visit the pope, were the same ones bashing him (Francis) and the office. Perhaps folks are a little too eager to bash Boehner? On this it is not warranted. The speaker should be criticized for his actions, policies, not this. If he is going to work then he has an excuse. Good for Biden for asking though.
