With its huge mirrors, black onyx and dark marble, the American Bar (6) (K?rntner Durchgang 10; loosbar.at) was another expression of early 20th-century architectural rebellion. It was designed by Adolf Loos, an Austro-Hungarian architect prominent in the Art Nouveau movement. The bar is popular with an arty crowd.
